Once billed as "America's answer to the Von Trapp family," the Tweed family formed in 1968 and moved to San Diego in 1973. Dr. Myron Tweed joined the music faculty at Point Loma Nazarene University and, in 1976, was appointed the music chairman for the Billy Graham Crusade. He has been Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church since 1979 and now directs the Cabrillo Singers, a select group of musicians that sings at various venues across San Diego.

Pauline Tweed is soprano soloist at First Presbyterian and Temple Beth Israel. She is also adjunct professor of voice at San Diego State University and teaches private voice.

Dr. Randall Tweed is head of music at Grossmont College and directs the Grossmont Synfonia and the Master Chorale.

Robin Tweed works as an actress and performs musical theater.

Greg Tweed is an electrical engineer.

Heather Tweed Hargett is the music director at Mount Miguel High School and teaches concert choir, show choir, gospel choir, guitar, and piano. She sings as the soprano section leader and is assistant director of the Cabrillo Singers. She also sings in the San Diego Opera Chorus and at various singing engagements.
