11:40 Boating: 911 call of overturned vessel at Ski Beach with 2 persons on board in the water. R1 and 4 Sam respond. Overturned catamaran contacted by Lifeguards.
14:25 Boating: Report of sailboat dragging anchor in Santa Barbara Cove. M3 responds. M3 finds vessel aground. Owner notified via phone.
15:04 Cliff: Blacks Beach Call box report of 4 people trapped in Box Canyon with fast moving water. U35, 31S, 3S, 3L, R43, M9, M35, E35, RR8, and B5 respond. 3 of the 4 victims clear upon arrival, one victim remains trapped on south side of Box Canyon. Copter 2 is cancelled due to weather and US Coast Guard copter is requested. Box Command is established at 15:15. Rescuer over the edge at 17:00. Victim and rescuer at the top at 17:18.

18:20 Other: River 8 requests San Diego Fire Department for a vehicle on fire at 10555 Sorrento Valley Road. River 8, Engine 41, and San Diego Police respond. E41 extinguishes fire and Police take report.
19:56 River: El Cajon Police Department request Swift Water Rescue Team response for a Category 3 Water Rescue at 415 Fletcher Parkway. El Cajon Police, River 5, River 2, and River 1 respond. River units assist tow truck driver with hooking up vehicle in moving water. All units clear at 21:15.

17:15 Medical: Caller report of an overdose at 4918 West Point Loma Blvd. 1 Sam, M15, M14, and E20 respond. Units on scene discover multiple patients. Both patients require CPR. One patient to UCSD other patient released to an unknown destination.
